Welcome! I’m a video game developer with lots of experience in Unity. I’ve worked on several published games, as well as a couple of university projects. I specialize in gameplay, architecture and UI programming. I’ve lead the development of two published games, coordinating tasks with co-workers and other departments. I have additional expertise in rendering and shader programming.

If you have any question, or you’d like to get in contact with me, you can do so here, and I’ll be glad to answer within short notice. You can also find me on LinkedIn here. By the way, BetaLemon is my online alias.

Academic Record

I started studying videogames in 2015. The degree I entered would be called, if translated, «Engineer’s Degree in Interactive Digital Content» (Enginyeria en Continguts Digitals Interactius), and is held at ENTI («The School of the New Interactive Technologies», Universitat de Barcelona), in Barcelona, Spain.

Work Experience

I’ve worked for several months as a Game Developer Intern at Petoons Studio, where I got hired as a full-time Game Developer. I’ve worked there for 3 years (and 1 day!), on several published games. Now, I’m working for Snapshot Games, to create visually stunning games in their awesome Technical Art team.

Why I do what I do

I’ve always been drawn to computers, ever since my dad introduced me to them. I knew I’d end up working with computers for a living.

Then, when I started studying at university, I realized how much fun it was to develop games. Video games have, without a doubt, made a huge impact on modern society. I think they’re a powerful media that’s able to enhance people’s lives and make a difference. I’d love to do just that.

Ambitious

I keep striving perfection, despite the fact that nothing’s perfect, ever. I want to achieve great things! Aiming high keeps me motivated. Having the feet on the ground though, is important too.

Helpful

I want the people around me, to be happy. If they’re happy, I’m happy. Therefore, I constantly try to help everyone, by listening to them, making changes and improving everything I can.

Flexible

I can adapt to various workflows and methodologies. Besides that, I have a wide understanding of the development of videogames, on top of specializing on programming.
